Ecoquest Changes Hands

Well it was quite a surprise to find out that Ecoquest International was not able to weather the recession and have decided to sell to Electrolux. At first I was disappointed with the company, with all the lectures on keeping things together during a recession, not giving up etc. Mike Jackson sold the company within a year of things starting to go downhill.

Having done some research on Electrolux and actually knowing the name quite well from growing up in England. This sale could actually be a good thing for Ecoquest. Potentially in giving air, water and laundry purification more of a home association, of products that are necessary for a healthy home, rather as the exception for someone who suffers from allergies etc. Also for just getting the name out into the European market would be very benefical for Ecoquest too!

So I have to look forward with some anticipation to see what the future will bring.
